i’ve been waiting so long staring at the sun until my retinas burn this damn paint won’t dry now and only blind eyes direct their gaze upon my work ever since the damn broke we’ve been traveling to higher ground left all our things behind and i think that place was haunted by dead dreams and past desires cause a chill came over me suddenly i swear it felt cold around the fire now that goldfish plant all in bloom since she was born memories like wet ink dripping jade visions in the morning while you wait for something you swear will never come you say you don’t believe in ghosts but if you already are one they’ve already won i can see right through you like you’re not even there apparition white wash tell tale long hair waited for you to come back for so many days and nights but you only save visits for rem lights and now that goldfish plant all in bloom since she was born memories like wet ink dripping jade visions in the morning tiny laughs from her room at odd hours uninvited guests bringing sunflowers peaking out from beyond like indian summers
